This gene belongs to a gene family of tachykinin receptors. These tachykinin receptors are characterized by interactions with G proteins and contain seven hydrophobic transmembrane regions. This gene encodes the receptor for the tachykinin substance P, also referred to as neurokinin 1. The encoded protein is also involved in the mediation of phosphatidylinositol metabolism of substance P. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2008] SWISS: P25103 Gene ID: 6869 此抗体与大、小鼠、及豚鼠均有交叉反应。P物质是由11个氨基酸组成的多肽，主要分布于感觉神经纤维、后根神经节和脊髓后角，作为重要的神经递质或调制因子参与伤害性刺激的传递，该递质与突触后膜上P物质受体结合，将痛冲动传入中枢，产生疼痛反应。 P物质与神经源性炎症、瘙痒及疼痛的产生有关，通过刺激肥大细胞释放组织胺、缓激肽及前列腺素等致炎、致敏、致痛物质，引起一系列病理反应，P物质除作为伤害性信息的信使外，本身又为炎症介质。 |
