Background:

Identified in a human 8p amplicon, this gene is a potential oncogene whose expression is enhanced in some malignant fibrous histiocytomas (MFH). The primary structure of its product includes an ATP/GTP-binding site, three leucine zipper domains, and a leucine-rich tandem repeat, which are structural or functional elements for interactions among proteins related to the cell cycle, and which suggest that overexpression might be oncogenic with respect to MFH. Storage:

0.01M TBS(pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.03% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.
