Background:
RICTOR and MTOR (FRAP1; MIM 601231) are components of a protein complex that integrates nutrient- and growth factor-derived signals to regulate cell growth (Sarbassov et al., 2004 [PubMed 15268862]).[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008].
Also known as:
Rictor(Phospho-Thr1135); Rictor(Phospho-T1135); p-Rictor(Thr1135); p-Rictor(T1135); AVO3; AVO3 homolog; hAVO3; DKFZp686B11164; hAVO3; KIAA1999; Likely ortholog of mouse TORC2 specific protein AVO3 (S. cerevisiae); mAVO3; MGC39830; PIA; Pianissimo; Rapamycin insensitive companion of mTOR; Rapamycin-insensitive companion of mTOR; rictor; RICTR; RICTR_HUMAN; RPTOR independent companion of MTOR complex 2; TORC2 specific protein AVO3; RICTOR protein.
Specificity:
Rabbit Polyclonal IgG, affinity purified by Protein A.
Reacts with: (predicted: )
Immunogen: KLH conjugated synthetic peptide derived from human RICTOR.
Predicted Molecular Weight: 192kDa.
Storage:
0.01M TBS(pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.03% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C.
